A high PageRank means Google give the content on your site that much more importance than others. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be. Also, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. A high PageRank would also mean that your content will rank higher in search results.

Today while browsing, I found a hack about two most popular instant messengers (chatting clients); Yahoo Messenger and Google Talk. This Simple Hack allows you to Run multiple instances (more then one) of Yahoo Messenger and Google talk simultaneously on one PC. Yes!! I am not joking.. You can open more than one instance of any of them, working in parallel.

FOR YAHOO MESSENGER

• Go to Start >> Run >>
• Type regedit >> press Enter
• Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Yahoo >> pager >> Test
• Then Right click on test >> choose New >> Dword value .
• Rename it as ‘Plural’.
• Double click it >> assign a decimal value of 1.
• Close the registry and Restart yahoo messenger.

Hey Its All Done!! Now you can open ‘N’ instances of yahoo messenger and login into each from different yahoo ID.

FOR GOOGLE TALK

• Create a shortcut of Google Talk messenger on your desktop or any other location.
• Right click on the Google Talk messenger icon and select properties option
• Modify target location text from this “c:\program files\google\google talk\googletalk.exe” /startmenu to “c:\program files\google\google talk\googletalk.exe” /nomutex
• Then Click OK!!

Now you can run multiple instances of Google talk . As far as system security is concerned, I don’t think any of the above tricks can harm the computer. But still you can have some precautionary measure before trying it.

There are some other methods are also if you dont want to take any chance on your system. Use PIDGIN. Pidgin is a desktop chatting client and very easily configurable, After installing it you will not need Yahoo Messenger , MSN messnger or Gtalk etc. Just use Pidgin for signing into everyone. And Ofcourse you can have 2 or more yahoo accounts running simultaneously.

Ashesh.net has Now been moved to wordpress sucessfully. Blogger was also not a bad choice, but this year I thought do this, As Wordpress is uncomparable in the feature. Its best of its kind and first choice of serious bloggers. So I put my Google Pagerank on the stake and made this transition. Thanks and ton to the author of wordpress inbuilt plugin, for importing posts from blogger, which made all my previous post accessible here. A lots of work was to done, like 301 redirects, links updation to various places, choosing templates and installing plugins, removing unneccessary stuff and more. Finally everything got finished. N a brand new wordpress blog was smiling in front of me. But as Everything has a price to pay, You may have few problems in accessing the older ‘perma links’. But journey will be smooth now onwards. Orkut: A Social Community, So well-known that even a kid studying in 4th standard know about it and may have his profile there too. It’s another feather in Google’s(synonym of success) hat, who is famous for creating end user centric, utmost quality applications. But are they always best??, are there products are PERFECT with no further scope of improvement??, Does google has became the God of this internet Era??
May be !! and perhaps Yes, but my opinion is that ‘Nobody can make a perfect thing’. Attaining Perfectionism is a never ending process not a state(which can be achieved). So Google wake up. Don’t sleep like rabbit as tortoise(Microsoft) is always following you. As you will take a nap, tortoise will left you behind. personally I like google and want them to go up and up. So my dear “google deva”, here are some suggestions which I found regarding the ‘Orkut’.

1. Content(specially photos) Privacy Protection. Like User may be having two albums, one containing private data and other containing general pics for public. He should be able to apply the protection on individual album, if needed.
2. Volunteerly account suspension. Very often users delete their profile after feding up from orkut or if anyone want to be reserved now onwards. But soon after they realize, what big mistake they have made. And more than 50% of the user who deleted their profiles make the new profile again with in few months. So why should not be there is an option of account suspension so that he can reactivate the things whenever he want.
3. Send scrap to all (many). Everyone’s scrap book is cluttered up with send scrap to all third party scripts, many people are using them and its need of everybody. So it would be better if google himself introduce this feature. though it includes the risk of increase in scrap traffic and may degrade the performance, but that shouldn’t Google worried about, After all he is the champ.

hehhehehehe dekha kya fandooo ideas hai… these all useless things are result of ‘faltoo time’ which I got during lunch break or tea gupshup. So don’t take it seriously and also dont yell over me for wasting your time. I have wasted mine twice, firstly thinking all this and then writing it here. So No blame on me please..!!
